Applicants to all Master of Music (M.M.) and Specialist in Music (S.M.) degrees must complete and submit the graduate application. Any person who has not yet completed the equivalent of a baccalaureate degree (with a major in music) at an accredited institution should apply as a transfer student at the undergraduate level. All applicants to a specialist degree program must have completed a master’s degree in music at an accredited institution.

A $75 application fee payable by credit card must accompany the online application. No application will be considered without this non-refundable fee. Applications submitted after the deadline are subject to a $25.00 late fee.
Several credentials are requested via the online application. Certain programs do require additional materials to be sent directly to the Admissions Office. Please refer to the Departments link above to confirm the requirements for the program to which you are applying

The deadline to apply is December 1 (with the exception of the Music Education MM Summer Program, for which the deadline is February 15).
If you are applying for a merit-based financial aid award, you must submit the application for admission and all other required materials by the deadline.
