Melody Racine, senior associate dean for academic, faculty, and student affairs at SMTD will step in as interim dean of the school, effective Aug. 16.

Carillon study is available for students enrolled in the University of Michigan with sufficient keyboard proficiency. Students elect Carillon for 2 credit hours, which includes a 30-minute individual lesson and a group studio class weekly. Carillon students are also eligible to participate in periodic field trips to explore other carillons in southeast Michigan.
